Winston-Salem TEACH partners with all WS/FCS schools that qualify as “high-need,” as defined by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE). The U.S. DOE defines a school as “high-need” if 60% or more of the student population qualifies for Free-and-Reduced-Price Lunch (FRPL) at the elementary level and 45% or more qualify at the middle and secondary level.
